Thanks to the hard work of staff, especially Dave and Keith our site manager, for digging snow off the car park! Keith  hired a special machine to help move the enormous amount of snow. See the gallery for pictures of children enjoying a snowy playground. Later in the day the highways agency came to help.They had also helped clear Maple Crescent on Monday and early Tuesday morning   .

Hi there and a very big welcome to our fantastic primary special school ...

As the Head Teacher, I would very much like to welcome you to Maple Ridge Primary school. We pride ourselves on developing close and productive relationships with pupils, parents and the community.
We believe that our School is a place of learning where our specialist teaching skills and facilities combine to provide an excellent environment in which to prepare your child for life.

We provide a broad, balanced and exciting curriculum based on the national curriculum. We aim to develop our pupils skills and knowledge with relevance to them becoming balanced and productive individuals in our rapidly changing world. We teach our pupils to care for and have respect for one another and the world in which we all live. Our pupils develop self-worth, self-respect and self-discipline. They are encouraged to become self-motivated individuals, who are willing to care for others.

Maple Ridge Primary school is also a learning centre for all our community and as such we have excellent facilities to meet their needs. We boast a swimming pool and sports hall, alongside excellent ICT facilities. We work closely with our parent groups and governors and are committed to a life-long learning ethos.
